Audio Active

Audio Active es una de las más exitosas bandas de reggae de Japón, y se formaron en 1991, integrada por el cantante Masa, 2DD, Shigemoto Nanao y bajista Takeshi Akimoto.

Masa ha escuchado reggae desde que era un adolescente, y ha tocado (con 2DD) en la banda de ska Vital Connectionand, antes de tomar su amor por las raíces de la música reggae y el dub.
La banda se vieron fuertemente influidos por Lee "scratch" Perry, con elementos de hip hop.
